Augmented Reali: Preview Around The Horn’s innovative new studio

Learn how ATH will be the first U.S. domestic program to full integrate augmented reality into its entire 30-minute presentation

It was announced today that Around the Horn (weekdays, 5 p.m. ET on ESPN) will debut an entirely new look on Monday, Nov. 5 – timed to the sports news and debate show’s 16-year anniversary (ATH debuted Nov. 4, 2002). The video above previews the highly ambitious and innovative undertaking.

Perhaps the most exciting news is that ATH will be the first U.S. domestic program to full integrate augmented reality into its entire 30-minute presentation. Other notable enhancements include: host Tony Reali’s move to ESPN’s New York Seaport District Studios – the same studio where First Take moved last month; new graphics and animations; a new show logo and color palette; a fresh musical theme; and a new show website.

Below are photos from a recent rehearsal in preparation for ATH’s relaunch two weeks from today.

Shelby L. Lacy and Bill Hofheimer produced the video.
