CHICAGO – ESPN’s exclusive presentation of the Rockies-Cubs MLB NL Wild Card Game (8 ET, ESPN) marks the final assignment of the season for the Sunday Night Baseball team.
This season, play-by-play voice Matt Vasgersian and analyst Alex Rodriguez joined third-year analyst Jessica Mendoza and eighth-year reporter Buster Olney to form ESPN’s new SNB crew.
“We all love baseball and we all love being around each other,” said Mendoza. “I think that translated onto the broadcasts this season. We had a blast and we’re already looking forward to working together next season.”
Front Row captured many of the entertaining on-air moments, appropriately titled: “Sunday (Funday) Night Baseball.”
