Rachel Nichols, host of ESPN’s The Jump, secured an exclusive sit-down interview with three-time NBA Champion LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers. Part of the interview will air during halftime of the season finale of ESPN’s Monday Night Football – Denver Broncos versus Oakland Raiders – on Dec. 24, Christmas Eve.
The full interview is scheduled to run after the game on SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt. Content from the interview also will air throughout ESPN and ABC’s NBA Christmas coverage on Dec. 25, including within ESPN NBA Countdown at 11 a.m. ET.
Nichols provided the behind-the-scenes photos of the interview seen above. Episode 6 of More Than An Athlete will be available on Christmas Eve, exclusively on ESPN+. The eight-part series examines the unique bonds of friendship and business partnership forged between James, Maverick Carter, Randy Mims and Rich Paul.
