SEC Network’s Alyssa Lang Caps Off First College Football Season with Monday’s Thinking Out Loud MegaCast

"We shared deep thoughts on the best type of french fry, best rap song . . . all while keeping track of live-game action."

Alyssa Lang is finishing up her first college football season with SEC Network by taking part in an encore performance of Thinking Out Loud as part of ESPN’s MegaCast coverage of the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Joining Greg McElroy and Marcus Spears, Lang kicked off her first MegaCast experience last weekend as the TOL trio broke down the action from the College Football Playoff Semifinal between Oklahoma and Alabama at the Capital One Orange Bowl.

Lang gives Front Row her top three things she’s excited about as the Thinking Out Loud crew sets off for Santa Clara, Calif.:

1. I’m looking forward to more power rankings on very sensitive topics. During the Orange Bowl, we shared deep thoughts on the best type of french fry, best rap song. . . all while keeping track of live-game action. We will likely answer more of these hot button questions during the title game.

2. We talked about it on the last MegaCast, but with the conclusion of bowl games (UCF, Georgia, Michigan all losing), what does the expanded playoff argument look like now? Greg’s had some hot takes on Twitter all week and I’m interested to see where the discussion goes this time after having seen these teams play.

3. Three more hours with the TOL crew. It flew by last week, but it’ll be one official last hurrah for the season! Marcus tracked down some really good food for us in Miami – some fried shrimp and seasoned fries that definitely helped fuel the MegaCast. We’ll be holding him to a high standard for finding good food for us in Cali, too.
