“What blew me away was the community that travels every single week as GameDay”

Jason Fitz, new to the College GameDay road show this season, shares some of his many souvenirs from the show's travels

ATLANTA – Countdown to GameDay’s Jason Fitz marked his first season on the road with the College GameDay Built by The Home Depot cast and crew by grabbing a souvenir from each stop.

It was important to Fitz, who co-hosts the live social media pre-game show, to step back and commemorate his first year with the crew.

Countdown to GameDay and College GameDay are live from the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta. Countdown to GameDay starts streaming at 8:30 a.m. ET Saturday morning, immediately preceding College GameDay from Georgia International Plaza on ESPN at 9 a.m.. The shows are part of ESPN’s full coverage from Atlanta, including SEC Network’s Paul Finebaum Show, Marty & McGee and SEC Nation Presented by Dr Pepper.

Some of Fitz’ GameDay souvenirs might find a new home next year.

ESPN Radio will launch a new, highly interactive weekday afternoon sports talk show, First Take, Your Take with Jason Fitz, beginning Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. ET. The two-hour show – hosted by Fitz and simulcast on ESPNEWS – will further the most timely conversations from that morning’s edition of ESPN’s marquee debate show First Take.
