What’s In Store For ESPN And UFC In 2020?

Dan Riccio, ESPN's associate manager of programming, reflects on that question and more ahead of UFC 245 on Saturday

Ahead of UFC 245 feature a thriller championship tripleheader headlined by Kamaru Usman versus Colby Covington in a welterweight title fight, Front Row caught up with Dan Riccio.

He is ESPN’s associate manager of programming and one of the executives who has been working on UFC since Day One.

In the video above Riccio, who has played an integral role in helping drive ESPN’s combat sports strategy, explains what his experience has been like working on UFC and what he is looking forward to in 2020.

UFC’s final PPV event of 2019 will also feature Max Holloway defending his UFC featherweight title against Alexander Volkanovski in the co-main, and Amanda Nunes defending her UFC women’s bantamweight title against number-one contender Germaine de Randamie.
