John Altobelli, a baseball coach at Orange Coast College, died alongside his wife, Keri, and 13-year-old daughter, Alyssa, in Sunday’s helicopter crash in California.

Saturday morning’s edition of Outside the Lines (9 a.m. ET, ESPN) will include a feature on John Altobelli, the successful college baseball coach who, along with his wife and daughter, were among the nine killed in the helicopter crash that took the lives of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna. The story, with reporter Chris Connelly, is centered around his team’s season opener, which came roughly 50 hours after the tragic crash, and includes interviews with family members. Also, on ESPN.com, Alden Gonzalez wrote about how Altobelli’s brother Tony heard about and has been fighting through the loss of his brother.
