Home Games: Mark Teixeira, Jessica Mendoza report from their respective remote setups

Major League Baseball is on hiatus, but ESPN’s team continues to treat every day like game day.

Today on Front Row, World Series champion and ESPN MLB Analyst Mark Teixeira and Olympic Gold Medalist MLB Analyst Jessica Mendoza each provide a glimpse into what it’s like when workdays are “home games.”

ESPN is continuing to cover Major League Baseball daily with multi-platform content. MLB Encore Tuesdays presented by Taco Bell (7 p.m. ET, ESPN) highlights some of the most memorable MLB games ever played every Tuesday night. BBTN Live precedes MLB Encore Tuesdays weekly as a digital pregame show beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the ESPN App and ESPN’s Twitter and YouTube channels.

MARK TEIXEIRA: MEMORY LANE

Teixeira walks us through the home office of a World Series champion, showcasing memorabilia such as a painting he commissioned after the 2009 World Series, the World Series trophy, the bat from his very first hit as a major leaguer and the 2000 Dick Howser trophy from his college baseball days at Georgia Tech.

JESSICA MENDOZA: BACK TO NATURE

Mendoza explains that while she has a home office, she spends much of her work-from-home days working outside in the sunshine and fresh air.
