ESPN Daily host, pro basketball player have candid discussion about racism, increased acts of violence against the AAPI community and more
ESPN Daily host Pablo Torre continues to be a leader in the critical conversation taking place on what it means to be an Asian American in the United States surrounding the racism and increased acts of violence against the AAPI community.
This week he spoke with professional basketball player Jeremy Lin on the podcast about Lin’s experiences as a first-generation Asian American, in the NBA and beyond. Torre also concluded last week with an incredibly powerful and personal video essay on the topic.
It’s something special to be able to chat with an Asian American sports journalist about these issues. Thanks @pablotorre for having me and for your continued support! https://t.co/M8fnEMattL

@mPinoe is right: we cannot make unequal pay a thing of the past without properly investing in women’s sports.
Every girl deserves a chance to fulfill their dreams of becoming a star athlete. It’s up to us to fight for equitable pay and conditions.https://t.co/CF7HqvZDqb

The Sweet 16 is set. Each No. 1 and No. 2 seed advanced, but so did five teams seeded 5 or lower. The Big Ten leads the way with four teams.
So how do we rank them all?https://t.co/PQJbFvTnTK

A gripping read on an issue hitting close to home. For being the thing people use to escape political upheaval, it’s amazing (not really) how much politics are threaded into high school athletics. https://t.co/dRxuzkKNv0
