GameDay crew meets with fans in advance of Jimmy V Men’s Classic tonight

NEW YORK – ESPN’s Jimmy V Week for Cancer Research – in its ninth year across all domestic ESPN platforms to drive awareness of and donations to The V Foundation for Cancer Research – concludes tonight. Last year, Jimmy V Week raised a record $2.23 million, bringing the eight-year total of contributions to more than $10.5 million.

College GameDay Covered by State Farm – featuring host Rece Davis with analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams – will be live for the first time this season from the Jimmy V Men’s Classic starting at 6 p.m. from the floor of Madison Square Garden. The annual event will showcase four top college basketball programs beginning at 7 p.m. on ESPN and ESPN Radio – No. 14 West Virginia versus No. 9 Virginia, followed by No. 6 Maryland versus UConn.

In advance of the games tonight, the GameDay crew appeared on a panel hosted by ESPN Radio 98.7 FM Michael Kay at the prestigious New York Athletic Club.
