Earth Day is April 22. On ESPN’s Bristol campus, we are starting our celebration with a drive to collect old sneakers.
Employees are encouraged to bring in old sneakers; the shoes are collected and the rubber is transformed into surfacing for playgrounds.
This is the first of a string of events and drives across our offices to generate excitement and consciousness for conservation, reuse, and recycling. Stay tuned, there’s more to come.
