Kruk’s best ‘Chase’ lounge

PHOENIX — Baseball Tonight analyst John Kruk, who provided commentary for the State Farm Home Run Derby on Monday, picked out his “best seat in the house,” his favorite location to view the slugging contest from Chase Field.

The segment aired during the pre-Derby edition of Baseball Tonight. Few were surprised by Kruk’s choice (seen above) — a poolside perch in right field.

Prior to the All-Star Game, Kruk will identify a new spot, the best vantage point to take in the game. The clip will air during the 6 p.m ET edition of SportsCenter.

Kruk’s “best seat in the house” segment airs each Sunday throughout the season during the 7 p.m. edition of Baseball Tonight, which originates from the site of Sunday Night Baseball.
