Executive Voice: Roz Durant, EVP of Programming & Acquisitions, on ESPN’s Expanded Relationship with the Premier Lacrosse League

At ESPN, we’re constantly evaluating how to serve fans best and invest in the future of sports. Today’s renewal announcement with the Premier Lacrosse League is an example of both.

We’re proud to extend our relationship with the PLL for another five years – bringing fans every regular season, All-Star, Playoff and Championship game across our platforms. This deal reflects the strength of our existing partnership, the growing fan base for lacrosse and our belief in the league’s innovative, athlete-driven model.

We’re also excited to expand this relationship with the addition of the Maybelline Women’s Lacrosse League. As we continue our focus on elevating women’s sports, the WLL represents a meaningful opportunity to showcase some of the most talented athletes in the world, build a new fan experience and grow the game at every level.

In tandem with the rights renewal, ESPN has made a minority equity investment in the PLL – a decision that speaks to our confidence in the league’s leadership and long-term vision. It’s a strategic step that reflects our belief in where the sport is headed and our interest in playing a meaningful role in shaping that future.

We’re excited to bring fans more lacrosse, more often – and proud to do it alongside a forward-thinking partner in the PLL.
