Today on Campus: Eric LeGrand

ESPN welcomes many athletes and celebrities to its Bristol, Conn. campus.

Today we welcomed one of the most inspirational stories in sports, former Rutgers football player Eric LeGrand.

LeGrand was hurt while making a tackle during a game against Army this past fall. He suffered a severe spinal cord injury, paralyzing him from the neck down. However, in July, LeGrand posted photos on his Twitter feed (@BigE52_RU) of him standing and announced that he was steadily regaining movement in his arms.

LeGrand was put through the ESPN Car Wash today, as he appeared on many of our outlets including SportsCenter, First Take, Outside the Lines and College Football Live.

When asked if he will ever walk again, LeGrand responded: “If there’s a will, there’s a way.” That’s a quote we can all live by.

Front Row will have more on Eric LeGrand and his visit to Bristol Friday.
