SportsCenter anchor Sara Walsh, a four-time Regional Sports Emmy Award winner, joined ESPN in May 2010 as an anchor for ESPNEWS.

The former University of North Florida soccer star owns the school record for goals and points scored in a single match.

Front Row caught up with Walsh this week to talk about Twitter and her alma mater.

Who is your favorite person to follow on Twitter?
Saturday Night Live‘s Seth Meyers. Funny is not overrated. I spend every Saturday night on my couch addicted to his Weekend Update segment.

You tweet about your trips and vacations. Where is your favorite place to go?
Any place with a beach and temps above 85 is good enough for me. If you use physical force to make me give a preference, I’d say San Diego. I have a house in La Jolla on standby for when I win the lottery.

You follow several of your fellow ESPN anchors. Who is your favorite to follow? Why?
Robert Flores: See answer No. 1. Not on [SNL‘s] Weekend Update, but he could be. [Editor’s note: Flores was our first I Follow profile.]

Name one thing you learned while on Twitter?
I’ve learned just as many people as me can’t turn off Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives when it’s on. I come across it and my remote gets stuck there. I put that on Twitter and I got more responses on that than anything sports related I’ve ever tweeted.

When is your favorite time to tweet?
Preferably when I have something interesting to say. So my apologies in advance that I’m probably batting .250 on that concept.

Your alma mater tweets you pretty frequently. What was your favorite moment about college?
Being introduced as part of the starting lineup. It’s a privilege, and a hard-earned one, to be a collegiate athlete. I never took it for granted.
