In May, ESPN’s Colin Cowherd shattered the 6-minute, 30-second barrier in the #HerdMile, blistering around a Southington, Conn. high school track in a rainstorm. . . OK, make it a drizzle.
Today, he announced his next challenge will take place in Orlando, Fla. In January 2013, the ESPN Radio and SportsNation host plans to conquer the Walt Disney World Half Marathon #WDWMarathon. The 13.1-mile course runs through the Magic Kingdom Park and finishes at Epcot.
In February, SportsCenter anchor Sage Steele completed the Disney Princess Half Marathon. She did it in little more than 2 hours and 16 minutes in her first official race at that distance — and she stopped for photos along the way.
Can Cowherd come close to accomplishing that feat?
His training table is stocked, as you’ll see in the video above.
