“The Force” is with SportsNation this Halloween as host Michelle Beadle and commentators Max Kellerman and Marcellus Wiley gear up for the holiday with an all “Star Wars”-themed special tonight (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2).

The SportsNation set in ESPN’s Los Angeles Production Center will be revamped to resemble the Millennium Falcon. Special guests will stop by the show, including “Star Wars” characters C-3PO, R2D2, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Figirin D’an and the Modal Nodes, Storm Troopers and Chopper.

As part of the special, the SportsNation crew taped a show open set around the premise that Beadle arrives at work only to find that Wiley and Kellerman are being held captive by Darth Vader (see video above). There is even an appearance from Basketball Hall Of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Beadle’s favorite part about the video?

“I got to do a fight scene with Darth Vader. When am I ever, ever, ever going to come close to doing anything that cool again?” she said.

“We’re going in a time machine back to our childhood,” said Wiley, “and I get to be a character in a movie that shaped people’s lives.”

Wiley will be dressed as Yoda, with Beadle as Han Solo and Kellerman as Boba Fett.

Darth Vader and his Storm Troopers are not new to the SportsNation family. They joined the set in 2010 to salute the 30th anniversary of “The Empire Strikes Back” and play the “STAR WARS Movie Game.”
