Fan Central Mailbag: NBA Playoffs, Indy 500 and CFB Live questions answered

Before we get to your questions, just a few quick programming reminders:

• ESPN’s NBA playoff action continues tonight with two Conference Semifinal Game 6 matchups. First, Paul Millsap and the Atlanta Hawks visit John Wall and the Washington Wizards at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN/WatchESPN. At 9:30 p.m. on ESPN/WatchESPN, the Golden State Warriors and NBA MVP Stephen Curry visit the Memphis Grizzlies and Marc Gasol. Before tonight’s games, don’t forget to watch the NBA Draft Combine at 3 p.m. on ESPN2/WatchESPN.

On Sunday, May 17, ABC will broadcast a Western Conference Semifinals Game 7 at 3:30 p.m. ET. If the Grizzlies – currently trailing the best-of-seven series 3-2 – defeat the Warriors in Game 6 tonight, then ABC will air Game 7 on Sunday. If Golden State defeats Memphis tonight to clinch the series victory, then ABC will broadcast Game 7 of the Houston Rockets-Los Angeles Clippers Conference Semifinals series. NBA Countdown will precede game coverage at 3 p.m.

• Tonight’s edition of ESPN Friday Night Fights and ESPN Deportes’ Noche de Combates (9 p.m., ESPN2, ESPN Deportes+, WatchESPN) features a great main event matchup between undefeated, up-and-coming lightweight Reynaldo “El Maestro” Ojeda (16-0, 9 KOs) and veteran Monty Meza-Clay (36-4, 22 KOs).

• Don’t forget, ESPN’s Regional round coverage of the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Championship continues today and throughout the weekend across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ESPN3 and SEC Network +.

Will ABC broadcast the Indianapolis 500 in its entirety? — Philip
ESPN’s production of the Indianapolis 500 airs on ABC on Sunday, May 24. The one-hour pre-race show begins at 11 a.m. and the race’s green flag is shortly after noon. ABC will air the race until its conclusion, barring any unforeseen conditions. Also, don’t forget, you can watch the Indianapolis 500 qualifying rounds tomorrow (11 a.m., ESPN3; 4 p.m., ABC) and Sunday (10 a.m., ESPN3; 1 p.m., ABC).
