Three things to know about CW Sports coming to the ESPN App

Starting Summer 2026, fans can stream CW Sports live events within the ESPN App. ESPN Unlimited plan subscribers will have access to the broad range of content available through CW Sports. ESPN’s direct-to-consumer offering continues to expand the range of live sports available in one place, making it easy for fans to access their favorites. Here are three things fans need to know about CW Sports coming to ESPN:
1. CW Sports adds more value and variety to the ESPN App
The ESPN App already offers more than 47,000 live events each year along with acclaimed studio shows, original programming and on-demand content. Building on this, CW Sports brings access to even more, including college football and basketball from the ACC, Pac-12 and Mountain West Conferences, NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, WWE NXT, PBA Bowling, PBR Bull Riding and AVP Volleyball. For no additional cost, ESPN Unlimited plan subscribers will be able to access all of CW Sports’ live events, meaning easier access to more sports and more value added for ESPN Unlimited plan subscribers.
2. The ESPN App offers more ways to watch CW Sports
Before this collaboration, CW Sports’ live events were available exclusively on CW Network via over-the-air television, with limited streaming options. Now, the range of content offered by CW Sports will be available within ESPN’s industry-leading app. ESPN elevates fan experience through features such as Multiview, personalized content and interactive stats. Fans of CW’s diverse array of offerings will be able to engage with their favorite events of the year in personalized ways.
3. CW Network broadcasts will remain available
CW Sports fans will still have the option to watch broadcasts live on CW Network via over-the-air television, while the ESPN App will become the exclusive streaming home for its live events. This goes hand-in-hand with ESPN’s goal to provide convenient, consistent and streamlined access for fans, however they choose to watch.
