WrestleMania enters a new era — streaming for the first time as part of the ESPN family — with expansive, citywide coverage from Las Vegas.
ESPN is delivering comprehensive on‑site programming leading into WrestleMania 42 Nights 1 and 2, live from Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19. From exclusive streaming action to studio shows, talent appearances and fan experiences, here are three things to know ahead of WrestleMania.
A First for WrestleMania: Streaming on the ESPN App
WrestleMania 42 marks the first time WWE’s flagship event streams in the U.S. on the ESPN App. Nights 1 and 2, along with the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and select pre‑ and post‑event programming, will be available exclusively to fans with an ESPN Unlimited plan.
For the first time ever, the opening hour of both nights of WrestleMania will also air live on ESPN linear networks before full event coverage streams exclusively on the ESPN App.
Night 1 begins Saturday, April 18, at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN2, featuring a six‑man tag team matchup starring LA Knight and The Usos, plus an Unsanctioned Match between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu. The Night 1 main event — Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton for the Undisputed WWE Championship — will stream exclusively on the ESPN App.
Night 2 starts Sunday, April 19, at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN, highlighted by Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar and an Intercontinental Championship ladder match. The Night 2 main event — CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship — will stream exclusively on the ESPN App.
ESPN Goes On Site with Wall-to-Wall Coverage
ESPN programming will originate from WWE World, Allegiant Stadium, Toshiba Plaza and Dolby Live at Park MGM throughout WrestleMania week. SportsCenter will be anchored on site by Randy Scott, Gary Striewski, Treavor Scales and Joe Fortenbaugh, delivering live reporting, fan engagement and post‑match reaction.
First Take will broadcast live from Allegiant Stadium on Friday, April 17, at 10 a.m. ET, while No Contest Wrestling, hosted by O’Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson, airs Thursday and Friday at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN2, alongside Kickoff, Countdown and post‑show coverage on the ESPN App.
Immersive Fan Experiences and Superstar Access
As part of ESPN’s presence in Las Vegas, fans can experience WWE‑themed activations at WWE World, including a co‑branded ESPN and WWE Tunnel Entrance, interactive installations and a Top Rope Leap photo opportunity turned into collectible trading cards with Topps.
WWE Superstars are appearing across ESPN platforms all week, while ESPN Social and ESPN.com deliver real‑time coverage, behind‑the‑scenes access and original storytelling leading into WrestleMania 42.
