Michelle Beadle made good on her bet with SportsNation co-host Marcellus Wiley on Wednesday night as she stepped on stage at the famed Laugh Factory in Hollywood.
During the Los Angeles Clippers-San Antonio Spurs NBA playoff series, the Spurs-loving Beadle and huge Clippers fan Wiley made a wager: If San Antonio won the series, Beadle would be allowed to destroy Wiley’s beloved joke book “Camp Good Days Joke Book A to Z.” If Los Angeles won, Beadle would have to do stand-up comedy using only knee-slappers from the joke book.
Beadle was a part of the “Supply and Demand” show at the Laugh Factory, hosted by Steve Hofstetter, and shared the stage with comedians including Neal Brennan, Mike E. Winfield and Ramy Youssef.
How did Beadle think her stand-up debut went?
“I’d imagine it’s very much like how Richard Pryor started,” she said.
