Fan Central Mailbag: NBA Playoffs, MLB, ESPN Films, and more

Welcome to another edition of the Fan Central Mailbag. Before we get to your questions, here are a few quick programming reminders:


  • The 2016 NBA Playoffs on ABC and ESPN continue this weekend with seven games. Tonight’s tripleheader tips off with the Cleveland Cavaliers visiting the Detroit Pistons in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Playoffs series (7 p.m. ET, ESPN, ESPN Deportes). Tomorrow’s doubleheader tips off with the Oklahoma City Thunder visiting the Dallas Mavericks in Game 4 of their Western Conference Series (8 p.m., ESPN). A Sunday doubleheader will feature the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors taking on the Houston Rockets in Game 4 of their Western Conference series (3:30 p.m., ABC).
  • This week’s edition of Sunday Night Baseball features the Boston Red Sox visiting the Houston Astros (8 p.m. ESPN, ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Deportes Radio). Remember, all games are available on WatchESPN.
  • ESPN Films’ 30 for 30 Shorts documentary series returns with a spring lineup of five new short films debuting every Tuesday over the next four weeks. The first and second documentary shorts, “Tiger Hood” and “When The King Held Court,” already debuted on Tuesday, April 12 and Tuesday, April 19, respectively. The rest of the films will premiere digitally at 10 a.m. each Tuesday, and then will air later that week on Friday Night Movie Night, during the 6 p.m. hour of SportsCenter.
