“Nature Boy” Ric Flair reflects on his new 30 for 30, ESPN
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – Entertainment media from across the country gather at the Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour twice a year to hear from networks and other prominent content creators who make presentations about their best upcoming programming.
On Wednesday, ESPN presented at Summer TCA 2017 at the Beverly Hilton – in between Discovery and HBO – showcasing both the new Sunday NFL Countdown as well as the Ric Flair 30 for 30 documentary “Nature Boy.”
Countdown host Sam Ponder, new NFL analyst Rex Ryan, and Flair himself were all on hand to answer questions and announce details for their respective projects launching this fall. But before they took the stage, Flair taught Ponder and Ryan how a proper introduction is done (see tweet below).

Additionally, Flair answered some questions exclusively for Front Row.
He addresses what he wants viewers to take away from the film (see banner video above).
Flair also names what ESPN personalities would form the network’s version of The Four Horsemen, the WWE’s storied stable of elite grapplers (Hint: He loves First Take).
Beginning Sept. 10, Ponder will take on a new role as Sunday NFL Countdown host and Ryan will join the Countdown analyst team. The now three-hour show will start at 10 a.m. ET.
The 30 for 30 “Nature Boy” will premiere on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Jennifer Cingari Christie and Taylor Garrett produced the videos.
