Before Lomachenko-Marriaga, Top Rank’s Arum weighs in on “Hi-Tech’s” style, ESPN

Saturday night from Los Angeles, ESPN will feature one of the most exciting fights of the year when two-division world champion Vasyl “Hi-Tech” Lomachenko defends his World Boxing Organization (WBO) junior lightweight world title against two-time world title challenger and Top-10 contender Miguel “Escorpión” Marriaga on Top Rank Boxing on ESPN starting at 10 p.m. ET.

In the videos above and below, Front Row spoke with Top Rank Inc. founder and CEO Bob Arum about working with ESPN again – the two companies started presenting boxing together in the 1980s – and shared his thoughts on champion Lomachenko.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The Top Rank fight card will air live and exclusively on ESPN and ESPN Deportes, and stream live on the ESPN app, from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Today during the 6 p.m. ET editions, both SportsCenter on ESPN and Golpe a Golpe on ESPN Deportes will also air Lomachenko’s weigh-in live.

Danny Chi and Jon McLeod produced the videos.
