Random audibles: McElroy & Spears, Thinking Out Loud “co-analysts,” preview new show

“Honestly, the first thing I thought is they are making a bad mistake,” said college football analyst Marcus Spears during a SEC Network promos shoot for his new sports talk show with Greg McElroy, Thinking Out Loud.

The weekly show, debuting Monday, Sept 4, at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network, highlights the weekend’s football action from the viewpoint of two former collegiate and NFL players who played on opposite sides of the ball.

Each week, McElroy and Spears will invite fans into the discussion via social media and live call-ins.

“There’s no host,” said McElroy. “Only analyst – and analyst.”

Front Row caught up with the jovial “co-analysts” to ask them three questions before their weekly show debuts on Labor Day.
