Tailgate like a “12” with Countdown tonight in Seattle

Tonight’s Monday Night Countdown pregame show (6 p.m., ESPN) will bring all the sights and sounds of tailgating in the Pacific Northwest to fans who can’t be at the Atlanta Falcons versus Seattle Seahawks game.

Before the season, ESPN’s NFL studio team designated three Monday Night Football games – Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City (Oct. 2), Lambeau Field in Green Bay (Nov. 6), and tonight at CenturyLink Field – where they would present a special “tailgate” hour with host Suzy Kolber and the analyst team spending the first half of the show outside the stadium with fans.

For the final hour, they will then make their way inside to the more traditional sideline set leading up to kickoff.

“There’s something extra special about the NFL game-day experience in Kansas City, Green Bay and Seattle,” said Seth Markman, senior coordinating producer, NFL studio shows. “Tonight, we want the rest of the country to see and hear what it’s like to be there among the ‘12s’ – what are the fans eating, wearing, cheering, etc. as they get ready for kickoff. We look forward to exploring all that.”
