In February, reporter Coley Harvey announced that he would be covering the New York Yankees for ESPN starting during Spring Training. Harvey has been with ESPN since 2013 and primarily has been an NFL Nation (Cincinnati Bengals beat) and SportsCenter reporter. His new role gives him the chance to cover this year’s exciting, slugging Yankees team across ESPN and ESPN.com.
Harvey is currently with the team at their facility in Tampa, Fla., and will be there for the majority of Spring Training. He will continue providing on-site reports with the team throughout the season as well. In the video above, Harvey speaks with Front Row about his new role and his passion for baseball.
