Journalism On Display: Social Reaction To ESPN’s Storytelling
What are Douglas 25Ls and why has Tom Brady sworn by them for 25 years? ESPN NFL Nation reporter Mike Reiss, who covers Brady’s New England Patriots, examined why the quarterback loves his old-school shoulder pads – a style the player has favored since the mid-1990s – so much. Reiss interviewed the former equipment manager at Brady’s alma mater, Michigan. That’s one of the examples of ESPN’s storytelling fans reacted to on social media this past week, as illustrated below.

Great piece. "You're put in a circumstance. You make a choice. And that choice reveals your character." Why a grueling 100-mile bike race is a perfect metaphor for @dallaseakins. https://t.co/n2y73jNhI7#Leadville100 #NHL @AnaheimDucks #cyclinglife
