Bilingual senior associate producer Natalie Rey is key to coordinating MNF coverage between ESPN's English and Spanish-language networks

Tonight, the NFL returns to Mexico City in anticipation of the 11th regular-season game held in Mexican territory.

The Monday Night Football matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers (8 p.m. ET, ESPN, ESPN Deportes, The ESPN App) at Estadio Azteca is one of the NFL’s five international regular-season matchups this year.

Front Row caught up with Natalie Rey, senior associate producer, who is tasked with gathering elements from the site and connecting with control rooms in at ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol.

Tonight Rey is inside the production truck, on her headphones speaking to ESPN Deportes MNF sideline reporter John Sutcliffe in Spanish and to the team around her in English, switching effortlessly from one language to another.

Leading up to one of the most Mondays on ESPN’s Spanish-language networks, Rey shares how collaboration and communication between teams is a must for getting content on the air in the video above.
