Sunday’s “SC Featured” segment on SportsCenter, produced by 25-year ESPN veteran Miriam Greenfield, looks at the family aspect of Major League Baseball.
During the unprecedented break in the season, many MLB players took advantage of the opportunity to spend more time with their children. As Chris Connelly reports (see trailer above), from daily homework assignments and graduations to games in the backyard or living room, the players were able to just play dad and cherish the bonus time they had with their kids. “Welcome Home” debuts in the 8 a.m. ET hour of SportsCenter and will re-air in other editions throughout the day.
