ESPN supports Bring Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day, #LeanInTogether

For the 11th year running, ESPN supports Bring Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day.

Today employees are bringing their children, ages 8 through 18, to ESPN’s offices to experience a parent’s typical work day. Children will job shadow, learn about technology, take studio tours and more.

The recently launched #LeanInTogether campaign, which “encourages men to help women in the fight for gender equality,” also was represented throughout the day.

Employees’ children wore t-shirts and hold signs featuring #LeanInTogether. Select photos were used on editions of SportsCenter.

“We believe in supporting men and women as both caregivers and leaders so the #LeanInTogether initiative works well as part of Bring Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day,” said ESPN Executive Vice President, Global Business Strategy, Marie Donoghue.

“Men play such an important role in breaking down gender stereotypes and ESPN is the best way to reach men in the workplace and media.”
