OAKLAND, Calif. – In this media gallery, go behind the scenes of ESPN’s coverage of the 2017 NBA Finals. ESPN produced ABC’s televised presentation of Game 1 on Thursday night, as the host Golden State Warriors routed the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers in Oracle Arena.
Game 1 was the third-highest rated NBA Finals opener ever televised by ABC. It was ESPN’s most streamed Game 1 ever, presenting an average-minute audience of nearly 500,000 viewers.
In anticipation of Game 2 Sunday on ABC (8 p.m. ET), ESPN’s The Jump set the scene today in Oakland.
