ESPN’s Jeff Van Gundy, brother Stan share stories on HBO’s Real Sports

ESPN’s lead NBA analyst Jeff Van Gundy (right in the screengrab above), former head coach of the Houston Rockets and New York Knicks, and his brother Stan Van Gundy, current Orlando Magic head coach, were profiled on HBO’s Real Sports.

The Van Gundy brothers, sons of a basketball coach, are said to have basketball in their DNA.

During the piece, their father Bill provides a scouting report on their basketball talents.

The brothers reflect on what it was like to coach against each other and the close relationship between them.

The episode of Real Sports re-airs throughout the month and is available On Demand.
