ASPEN, Colo. — Vanessa Anthes is the senior manager of operations for Winter X Games. In this role she oversees the map and the load in for the games, as well as, coordinating all of the vendors and making sure everyone works together.
In the video above, Anthes discusses the preparation for the Winter X Games, which starts in December and includes permitting work with the city, coordinating the plans and needs at Buttermilk, and of course, building the courses.
The Winter X Games begin tonight and air through Sunday on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC.
