Jesse Palmer signs multi-year extension as college football analyst

Jesse Palmer joined ESPN in 2007 and has voiced the ESPN College Football Thursday Primetime game since 2008, provided insight as ABC’s Saturday studio-analyst alongside John Saunders, and hosted his own weekly show on ESPNU with David Pollack.

Palmer has signed a multi-year contract extension to stay at ESPN and continue his role as one of the network’s leading college football analysts for games and studio shows.

The former Florida quarterback will kickoff the new season on Thursday, Aug. 30 for South Carolina at Vanderbilt with Rece Davis in the booth along with Thursday night newcomers Pollack and sideline reporter Samantha Steele.

In the video above, Front Row caught up with Palmer in Bristol, Conn. to find out why he stayed at ESPN; what to expect out of the new Thursday night crew and why he loves college football.
