Over the five years producer Andy Billman has been with ESPN Films, he has overseen popular projects such as “The Book of Manning,” “Requiem For The Big East,” “Bad Boys” and “The Announcement.” Now, he will make his directorial debut on Thursday with “The Stars Are Aligned,” part of the SEC Storied film series (9 p.m. ET on the SEC Network).
In the video above, Billman shares his thoughts on some of the highlights of the film including actress Ashley Judd’s and baseball star Jonathan Papelbon’s interviews about their game day rituals and how, at the end of the day, sports fans are sports fans no matter what their professions.
