ESPN remembers Trey Bomar, Ed Werder’s son-in-law
Trey Bomar, son-in-law of ESPN NFL Insider Ed Werder, died Saturday after a long battle with cancer. Werder shared the news on social media.
Bomar and his wife Christie, Werder’s daughter, have endured medical challenges together as chronicled in a Monday Morning Quarterback feature. Friends and colleagues inside and outside of the ESPN family shared their sympathies with Werder on social media.
Our beloved Trey, avowed #Saints fan, has surrendered to the cancer he fought with intense ferocity for two years. Our love for him endures.
