Levy awards ESPN content associate first-ever “Stuart Scott Cup” for year’s best highlight

The nightly “3 Stars” segment on yesterday’s 11 p.m. ET SportsCenter took on a different feel last night when anchor Steve Levy took the attention away form the playing field and brought it, instead, into the edit room.

In the video above, Levy proudly presents content associate Josh Bolander, a University of Iowa alum, what is now known as the “Stuart Scott Cup” for ESPN’s Highlight of the Year. Beyond the recognition from Levy, the video also contains a thank you to Bolander and ESPN from the coach and captain of the California School for the Deaf-Fremont (CSD). ESPN had extensive coverage of the CSD game in October.
