Women Making History Month: Meet the faces of espnW
This month, espnW has been honoring Women’s History Month with its spin on the celebration, calling it “Women Making History Month.”
At ESPN, espnW influences every corner of our content and business, ensuring women and female athletes are well-represented across all of our platforms. Seven years into its existence, espnW has grown from five to more than 40 employees who are dedicated to the business full time. The Women Making History celebration will continue tomorrow, Tuesday, March 28, as ESPN Radio and espnW will collaborate on The Trifecta: Women Making History Special, which will air 9 p.m.–midnight ET on ESPN Radio and simulcast on ESPN3.
The special, which honors Women’s History Month, will be hosted by The Trifecta’s Kate Fagan, Jane McManus and Sarah Spain and will discuss the impact female athletes have had on the sports landscape.
