Outside the Lines Simpson parole hearing coverage team quite familiar with O.J. saga

Thursday’s O.J. Simpson parole hearing from Nevada will air in a live, 90-minute edition of Outside the Lines anchored by Jeremy Schaap (ESPN, 1 p.m. ET) and will be followed in the evening by a SportsCenter special with Hannah Storm (ESPN, 7 p.m.).

While national media coverage is expected to be comprehensive, it will be hard to find a better, more well-versed group of Simpson reporters and analysts than the ones assembled by ESPN. Schaap will be joined in Studio Z by legal analyst Ryan Smith, TheUndefeated.com’s Jason Reid, espnW’s Kate Fagan and ESPN.com/ESPN The Magazine senior writer Howard Bryant. In Nevada, Shelley Smith will report from the Lovelock Correctional facility as Mark Schwarz will be in Carson City, site of the hearing.

Above, Schaap, Schwarz, Shelley Smith and Reid share their personal connections to Simpson.
