SportsCenter colleagues wish Victoria Arlen well on Dancing With the Stars

ESPN reporter/host Victoria Arlen will be among the 13 celebrity contestants in the 25th season of ABC’s hit program Dancing With the Stars that premieres tonight (8 p.m. ET).

Arlen and her professional dance partner Valentin “Val” Chmerkovskiy will dance to “Born Ready” by Disco Fries featuring Hope Murphy on the first night of the competition. Arlen, who appears on multiple ESPN platforms including doing updates for SportsCenter, has a remarkable story of overcoming adversity that includes regaining the ability to walk after 10 years in a wheelchair. She also is a Paralympian gold medalist.
