Elle Duncan’s 4 Takeaways from Being on “Last Call with Carson Daly”

SportsCenter anchor Elle Duncan appeared on the April 30 episode of NBC’s “Last Call with Carson Daly.”

Last night, SportsCenter anchor Elle Duncan was featured on the long-running “Last Call with Carson Daly”, in an interview conducted at New York City’s famous Cutting Room. For a music junkie and a child of MTV’s Daly-driven “Total Request Live,” Duncan was beyond thrilled to be on the show.

Front Row offers four thoughts from Duncan associated with the guest appearance.

Her reaction to being asked to do “Last Call”:

“I checked my text messages twice! I was like, “Seriously?’ I used to rush home from high school, pop in a Hungry Jack and watch “TRL” every day. It was life coming full circle for me.

On the reaction from her family and friends:

All my friends are texting like, “Girl! Carson though? How cool?” They also seem to be enjoying my “remix” of “You Are My Sunshine!”

The one thing she wished they didn’t cut:

The part about how devastating the 2018 National Championship was for us University of Georgia fans. Just because talking about it is cathartic.

The Cutting Room has hosted John Mayer, Lady Gaga, Sting, Sheryl Crow and David Bowie. Of those five, who would be the best SC co-anchor?:

DAVID BOWIE! Emphatically! He would’ve brought a cool, unpredictable element to the show and “Modern Love” is one of my favorite songs of all time so I could’ve fan-girled over the King of juxtapositions for a three hour stint.
