Feel Good Friday Archive

Front Row is expanding on “FGF” goodness every Friday as we put our own spin on the segment by highlighting the “good” being done by familiar faces from around ESPN who are helping to make others – and themselves! – feel good. This ongoing series showcases even more ways that ESPN is #OneTeam, signifying how we are all in this together.

One of the regular Friday highlights now ingrained in the noon ET SportsCenter is a segment called “Feel Good Friday.” It’s self-explanatory.

Today, co-anchors Matt Barrie and Elle Duncan will remember some of the touching moments from last night’s NFL Draft.

This week on Front Row, we hear from Chris Connelly and Randy Scott.

On Wednesday, ESPN will recognize #WorldWishDay with SportsCenter Special: My Wish on ESPN2 from 6-10 p.m. ET, looking back at four past seasons of the ESPN “My Wish” Series. Since its beginning in 2006, the series has partnered with Make-A-Wish® to fulfill 68 sports-themed wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Connelly, who has hosted the ESPN “My Wish” Series since it began, reflected on what the series has meant to him:

Randy Scott Gains New Appreciation For Teachers

Scott, who often anchors “Feel Good Friday” on Friday editions of SportsCenter, has gained a new appreciation for teachers while home-schooling his children during the pandemic.
