EDITOR’S NOTE: Debuting Christmas Eve (8 p.m. ET,  ESPN), SportsCenter Presents: 2020 – Heroes, History and Hope is a three-hour presentation hosted by Jeremy Schaap and Lisa Salters. Guiding viewers on a journey like no other, during a year like no other, the special is divided into three, one-hour programs, grouped into larger subject areas of: Heroes, History and Hope.

Each day this week, Front Row shares its own content pertaining to those universal themes. Today, we honor the Heroes who graced our presence and our pages. TOMORROW: History.
