Ashley Hatstadt is the 2023 Summer Intern for the ESPN Communications Department. The Rye, N.Y., native is a rising junior at Cornell University, where she studies business and competes in NCAA Division I squash.

Welcome to ESPN’s Summer 2023 Intern Class!

After a busy year of school, our intern class is more than ready to tackle what this summer at ESPN has in store for us. Whether at the headquarters in Bristol, Conn., or across the country in Los Angeles, there is a lot of learning (and fun!) to be had at every office in between.

Our intern class represents 28 different schools across the country, with each of us bringing new perspectives into our respective departments. For those in Bristol, we are enjoying getting to know each other from our hotel stay and after work dinners!

This year’s intern class has worked hard to get to ESPN, but the work doesn’t stop there. The excitement and dedication we have towards our jobs have only increased, and we cannot wait to see what the next ten weeks brings.
