Everything to know about ESPN’s UFC 309 Prelims Watch Party

All the details fans need to max out the experience on Saturday

UFC 309: Jones vs. Miocic will feature a historic showdown between two legends of the sport for the UFC men’s heavyweight championship, live from Madison Square Garden (Saturday, Nov. 16 at 10 p.m. ET | ESPN+ PPV).

Whether you have tickets to UFC 309, want to watch it somewhere close by, or you are an ESPN+ and ESPN BET fan if you’re in NYC, you need to stop by the ESPN UFC Prelims Watch Party. The event begins around 6 p.m. ET and is free and open to the public.

Ahead of Saturday’s first bout, Steven Bonalle (ESPN Marketing Manager) and Desiree Loyola (ESPN Associate Marketing Manager) take us inside what fans can expect.

THE WHEN – Saturday, Nov. 16 | 6-10 p.m. ET

THE WHAT:

Bonalle: Fans will be immersed into the experience starting with greetings from ESPN brand ambassadors, plus giveaways and promotions from ESPN+ and ESPN BET. We’ll have a DJ setting the vibe between fights, and fans can also win ESPN swag, complimentary PPV codes for UFC 310, and a special grand prize.

THE WHERE – Tailor Public House | 505 8th Ave, New York, NY 10018

Loyola: We chose a venue within walking distance of MSG because we want to be accessible to fans attending the fight in person, and those planning to watch the main event from the bar. The venue itself has a great layout that we’ll customize to provide a fully immersive experience.

THE WHY:

Bonalle: What we’d love for UFC fans to take away from the event is to understand the options ESPN provides to them, whether that’s ESPN+ for viewing or ESPN BET for gaming. We also want fans to know that ESPN is there to elevate big moments and celebrate with them.

Loyola: This event bridges the gap between ESPN’s online offerings and fans, providing an immersive experience that highlights the benefits of ESPN+ and ESPN BET.

We hope this event will drive both brand awareness and digital product growth. We will continue to work with ESPN’s Experiential Marketing team to identify opportunities where we can take events like this to the next level.
