“At ESPN, volunteerism is at the core of our culture”

During the Global Week of Service (June 3-9), ESPN celebrates its Volunteers of The Year

Every year, ESPN employees go above and beyond their regular job responsibilities to volunteer in their communities. ESPN’s annual Volunteer of the Year celebration provides a chance to highlight their impact.

“At ESPN, volunteerism is at the core of our culture,” said ESPN Vice President, Corporate Citizenship, Kevin Martinez. “This year, ESPN is joining Disney in celebrating 35 years of the employee volunteer program. June 3-9 is the Global Week of Service: a week filled with company-sponsored volunteer projects around the world, all focused on helping people in need. The efforts of our volunteers this year have shown not only impact many lives but the communities we live in. Our employees strive to be better corporate citizens and this year we demonstrated that in a large way.”
