Veteran New York City sports voice Jared Max hosts 1050 ESPN New York’s weekday 5-6 a.m. ET drive-time slot. He also handles 1050’s updates during Mike & Mike in the Morning (6-10 a.m. M-F), and is an integral part of ESPN New York's sports coverage. Max had previously served as sports director and was morning drive sports anchor for more than a decade at New York’s WCBS-AM (2000-11). A life-long devotee of the Metropolitan Area’s sports scene, Max was born, raised and resides in New Jersey, and attended Hofstra University, he reported sports at News 12 Connecticut and News 12 Westchester before joining WFAN-AM in 1997, and has also reported for Bloomberg Radio in New York.
