Next Saturday’s ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will originate from the campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn. The Volunteers (2-0) welcome No. 24 Florida (2-0) to Neyland Stadium in the Vols’ SEC opener.

ESPN will telecast the game at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN and WatchESPN.

It’s the eighth overall visit to Knoxville for the popular Saturday morning college football pregame show, now in its 26th season. GameDay was last there on October 2, 2004. The inaugural visit occurred on Sept. 9, 1995 and the Vols are 2-5 on the occasion of GameDay’s previous appearances.

College GameDay will air live at 9 a.m. ET on ESPNU and 10 a.m. on ESPN with host Chris Fowler, analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack, and host/reporter Samantha Steele.

Corso has done his ritual mascot head pick five times in Knoxville and has been correct all but one time (2002). It is the fourth time Florida has been the Vols’ guest with GameDay on-site (3-0).
