ESPN’s coverage of the first FIFA International Match Week of 2016 culminates tonight with a U.S. National Soccer Team doubleheader on ESPN2 and WatchESPN – the U.S. Men’s National Team versus Guatemala at 7 p.m. ET and U.S. Under-23 Men’s National Team versus Colombia at 9:20 p.m.

Jeff Carlisle and Doug McIntyre, who report for ESPN’s global soccer news and information platform ESPNFC.com, shared with Front Row behind-the-scenes photos of their work covering the USMNT’s home-and-home 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches against Guatemala.

Carlisle traveled to Guatemala City for the Americans’ 2-0 loss at the Estadio Nacional Mateo Flores on March 25.

Tonight, McIntyre – who also writes for ESPN The Magazine – is in Columbus, Ohio, at MAPFRE Stadium to cover the rematch. A victory is considered crucial to the USMNT’s chances of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.
